This is the Home page for Jay’s Clarinet and Percussion. Mr. Webler has been privately teaching in the Atlanta for over 9 years at various locations. He is accomplished on both the Clarinet and Percussion. Mr. Webler has developed an excellent reputation as teacher bringing his students to a much higher level of proficiency. On average Mr. Webler has over a dozen of his students make District Honor Bands in various districts and approximately half of those students end up going to Allstate. Mr. Webler’s has had students in the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Emory Youth Wind Ensemble. Along with that he has students that have gone on to major Universities including UGA, Indiana State, Kennesaw State, Georgia Southern. His students are also requested to perform in special events such as Master Classes and Clarinet Choir Performances sponsored by the Atlanta Clarinet Association.
This site is in the building stages and may change several times over the next few months as I become more familiar with doing a web site.
The background music is the result of my playing with my computer one day. I merged recordings I made of a portion of the Brahms 2nd Sonato, 3rd movement with a recording of a swing style drum solo. I am performing on both instruments. I call it; "What goes on in the mind of a person who plays Clarinet and Percussion".

Download page
One of the features of this site is the download page. I am providing this for my students, and anyone else, so that they can download exercises such as scales and arpeggios, roll exercises, etc. This should help my students when they "misplace" something I have already given them.

I have prepared an instructional video on Ted Reed's Syncopation for the Modern Drummer. I am presently in the process of converting this video to digital format and this page will be made visible when that is completed.
